Robert Whiteley is the producer, engineer and studio owner behind Whitewood Recording Studio in Liverpool. With a lifelong passion for music and sound, he has spent decades refining his craft and building a studio designed to inspire creativity. Known for his technical expertise, musical sensitivity and collaborative approach, Rob works closely with artists to capture performances that feel authentic, powerful and emotionally resonant.
Daniel Woodward
Danny is an engineer, producer and mixer and studio owner behind Whitewood Recording Studio in Liverpool.
He has travelled around the world as a monitor and FOH engineer for various artists and has been recording and producing on a wide variety of projects working with artists such as Ladytron, Circa Waves, BC Camplight, Crawlers, China Crisis and Banners.
Danny’s productions and recordings regularly feature on BBC introducing, 6 Music playlists, Radio 1 and Radio X and has over 100 million streams of his work.
He continues to work with established acts but also loves helping artists who are just starting out in their careers.
Patrick Armstrong
Patrick Armstrong is a Liverpool-based producer, recording engineer and mixer who works with artists across the alternative, indie and rock music scene. He has worked with bands and artists including Crawlers, STONE, Morningstar and Courting, alongside a range of emerging and established acts from across the UK.
Patrick works closely with artists throughout the creative process, from pre-production and recording through to mixing, helping them bring their ideas to life whilst staying true to their sound. His approach is collaborative and focused on capturing strong performances, developing arrangements and creating records that feel authentic and engaging.
Drawing on Liverpool’s rich musical heritage and combining it with modern production techniques, Patrick creates records that balance energy, character and clarity. Whether recording bands live in the studio, or delivering the final mix, his focus is always on producing music that connects with listeners and reflects the artist’s vision.
